Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth. This role focuses on designing reliable platform services, managing cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and collaborating with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure.

You will work with distributed architectures and AI-native tooling, implement best practices, and drive infrastructure improvements while communicating with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 1+ year of API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or Cilium.
• 1+ year of experience building architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
