Job summary

AgileEngine in Rosario, Argentina is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes. You will build reliable platform services, manage cloud resources, and work with service meshes to keep systems secure and performant.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, apply AI‑native tooling, and own architecture decisions to accelerate growth in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years AWS and Kubernetes with Service Mesh knowledge.
• 2+ years building architectural components (service registry, streaming, etc.).
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI‑native usage (Claude Code, Claude Cowork, etc.).
• Excellent communication, quick learner, ownership mindset.
• Upper‑intermediate English level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI‑native development tooling rounds out the role.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with API design and development, including REST/gRPC.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, with experience in Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, etc.
• 2+ years of experience building advanced architectural components, such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI‑native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper‑intermediate English level.
