Job summary

Guardian Properties, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead day-to-day accounting for a multi-entity fund structure. You will handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and the month-end close, adapting QuickBooks for fund-level tracking and leveraging Excel models for allocations.

The role requires a CPA license, strong Excel skills, and experience with fund distributions and management fee calculations. We welcome applicants worldwide, with a USD contractor framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with distribution processing and management fee calculations.
• Experience accounting for multi-entity fund structures.
• Strong QuickBooks Enterprise Online proficiency (sub-accounts and classes).
• Advanced Excel skills for allocations and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting fund audits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations across all entities and resolve discrepancies.
• Record and review journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Manage transactional accounting for receipts, disbursements, and intercompany activity.
• Own the month-end close process with reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Process fund distributions and calculate management fees per governing documents.
• Maintain multi-entity fund structures with QuickBooks sub-accounts and classes.
• Build Excel models to support allocations and reconciliations alongside QuickBooks.
• Support annual fund audits with schedules and auditor responses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting.
