Job summary

Bechtel Argentina seeks an Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in substation and line construction to support large projects and multiple disciplines. The role focuses on technical interpretation, quality program coordination, and close collaboration with design engineers and site teams.

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of relevant experience, HV mining project exposure, and the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree with 10 years in substation and line construction.
• HV experience in at least 2 mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable statutes/guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work ethic.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction engineering and technical support for a discipline on large stand-alone projects.
• Provide construction engineering support for two or more disciplines on small to medium projects.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues identified on drawings.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents for construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
• Coordinate the project quality program and report status of functions to project management.
• Establish and maintain communication between the company and the design engineer.
