Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of our cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and operational excellence. In this role, you will be a key contributor throughout the entire software development lifecycle and will drive initiatives that improve system reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.

You will thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment where adaptability and collaboration are critical.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infra roles, producing prod‑grade systems.
• Cloud: AWS or Azure; familiarity with EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise; Kubernetes Operators experience.
• Scripting: Python, Go, or Bash; strong CI/CD automation skills.
• Networking, cloud security, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane).
• Observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑team communication.
• Fluent Spanish and English; strong written and spoken skills.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure.
• Design and build Kubernetes‑based infra and Helm deployments; develop operators.
• Develop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Collaborate with dev and ops teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC and configuration management.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain health and speed.
• Troubleshoot full‑stack issues from infra to app runtime; drive root‑cause analysis.
• Improve DevOps workflows to reduce toil and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Champion security best practices and compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers; participate in on‑call rotations and post‑mortems.
