Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud infra design, development, and scaling with a strong focus on automation, security, and reliability. You will drive scalable CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes-based workloads across a global environment.

You will work with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve production readiness and developer productivity. Strong Spanish and English communication is required.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with AWS or Azure.
• Advanced experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and Kubernetes Operators.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools and IaC (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform).
• Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and observability tools.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS/Azure.
• Design and deploy Kubernetes-based systems, including Operators and Helm apps.
• Build scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Collaborate with development and ops teams to ensure scalable, reliable production environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with IaC and config management.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system health.
• Troubleshoot issues across the stack, from infra to app runtime.
• Continuously improve DevOps workflows and security practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture.
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
