Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE engineer to design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You will build Kubernetes-based platforms, develop operators, and automate deployment pipelines to support production-grade services.

You will collaborate with software and IT teams, implement IaC, monitor health, and uphold security standards while mentoring junior engineers.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infra roles.
• Deep expertise in AWS or Azure and core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM).
• Advanced experience with Docker and Kubernetes, incl. Operators.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling and automation of deployment workflows.
• Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure.
• Design and build Kubernetes-based infrastructure and develop Operators.
• Develop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deploy processes.
• Partner with development and operations teams to ensure performance and reliability in production.
• Automate provisioning/configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system health.
• Troubleshoot issues across full stack from infra to app runtime.
• Continue to improve DevOps workflows to enable faster delivery cycles.
• Champion security best practices and ensure compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge to elevate the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to post-incident reviews.
