Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role at our Córdoba, Argentina office. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities, building cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling that enable data teams to ship high‑quality data products faster and safer.

You'll design and operate AWS Glue, Athena, and S3 based pipelines, manage Terraform/AWS CDK, implement

Formación

5+ years of DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering experience with at least 2 years in data engineering.
Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation/CDK).
Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform and/or AWS CDK.

Responsabilidades

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs, Athena views, and related data infrastructure.
Build and manage AWS infrastructure on AWS using IaC tools (Terraform and/or CDK).
Own observability stack for data pipelines (metrics, logs, alerts) to ensure SLA and fast incident response.
Develop data ops tooling and reusable templates for production pipelines.
