Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team. This hybrid role blends platform engineering with data infrastructure, focusing on reliability, automation, and scalable data pipelines.

You will own CI/CD, AWS-based infrastructure, and data tooling to empower data teams to deliver high-quality data products safely. You will design and operate data workflows, manage Glue/Athena-based pipelines, and strengthen security and observability while mentoring junior

Formación

5+ years in DevOps/platform engineering or SRE with data engineering exposure.

Responsabilidades

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra.
Build and manage AWS infrastructure with IaC (Terraform / CDK).
Own observability for data pipelines with metrics, logs, and alerts.
Develop DataOps tooling and reusable pipeline templates for production-grade data work.
Manage container/compute infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, or Lambda) for data services.
Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/ Airflow / Step Functions) including upgrades.
Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for data ingestion/transformation.
