Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to own the reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics platforms. You will build cloud infrastructure on AWS, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and drive DataOps tooling in a hybrid environment.

You will work across engineering teams to secure, scale, and harden data workflows, implement best-practice security and observability, and mentor others on DevOps and data engineering practices.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps/platform engineering or SRE with data engineering work.
• Deep AWS core services expertise: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager, CloudFormation/CDK.
• Hands-on AWS data services: Glue, Athena, S3.
• IaC tools: Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
• Strong CI/CD experience: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Docker and container orchestration: ECS/EKS/Kubernetes.
• Observability: metrics, logging, tracing, alerting.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform/CDK).
• Own observability stack for data pipelines (metrics/logs/alerts).
• Develop DataOps self-service tooling and reusable templates.
• Manage container infra and orchestration for data services.
• Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions).
• Lead incident response and post-mortems.
• Mentor junior engineers in DevOps and data engineering.
