Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and data infrastructure, owning reliability, automation, and delivery of the systems powering Proofpoint's data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

You will build and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS-first), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling that enable data teams to ship high‑quality data products faster and safer, while contributing to

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE with data engineering experience.
• Deep AWS services knowledge: S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Secrets Manager.
• Proficiency with Terraform and/or CDK for IaC.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ETL jobs and data infra.
• Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / CDK).
• Own observability stack: metrics, logs, alerts to ensure SLA and fast incident response.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and production-grade pipelines.
• Manage container infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Operate workflow orchestration (MWAA / Airflow) including upgrades and scaling.
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for data lake ingestion.
• Enforce security best practices: Secrets, IAM, network segmentation.
• Mentor juniors and participate in code/design reviews.
• Lead incident response for data platform outages.
