Sovos is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead and own the performance, security, and availability of our enterprise database environments. You will be hands-on, ensuring mission-critical SaaS applications run at peak efficiency across regions.

You\'ll mentor junior DBAs, collaborate with software engineers and product teams, implement patches and disaster recovery plans, and leverage AI-assisted tooling to streamline operations while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Formación

• Hands-on experience managing production database environments and resolving performance issues.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server environments and database internals.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME for critical database technologies, leading incident resolution and performance tuning.
• Monitor, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning solutions to optimize queries and throughput.
• Review query designs and schema changes with engineers for efficiency and scalability.
• Lead patches, upgrades, migrations, backups, HA setups, and DR testing.
