Sovos is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to own the performance, security, and availability of our enterprise SQL Server environments powering tax compliance for 100,000+ customers across 100+ countries.

You will lead incident resolution, performance tuning, and migrations with minimal downtime, while mentoring junior DBAs and collaborating with product and technology teams to adopt best practices.

Formación

• Hands-on experience managing production database environments.
• Experience resolving performance issues and implementing tuning solutions.
• Strong proficiency with SQL Server environments.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a subject matter expert for critical database technologies, leading complex incidents and performance issues in SQL Server.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning solutions.
• Review query designs and schema changes with engineers to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Lead patches, upgrades, migrations with minimal downtime and disaster recovery testing.
• Mentor and support junior DBAs and application teams.
