AgileEngine is seeking a Database Administrator to manage and optimize high-availability production databases. You will work closely with engineering to secure, tune, and recover data systems, applying IaC with Terraform and Kafka administration.

The role requires 3–4 years hands-on DBA experience with MSSQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS RDS/Aurora, PowerShell or Python, and an upper-intermediate level of English, with flexible remote/office options in Córdoba, Argentina.

Formación

• 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience.
• Experience with MSSQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• AWS RDS/Aurora in production environments.
• Scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• IaC with Terraform.
• Kafka (Confluent Kafka) administration and troubleshooting.
• Performance analysis and tuning of relational databases.
• High-availability architectures and disaster recovery planning.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high availability of production database systems and ensure optimal performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery with zero data loss where possible.
• Secure databases via access controls and security best practices.
• Analyze and tune database performance and diagnose complex issues.
• Collaborate with engineering on design reviews and support.
• Hands-on administration of data systems supporting the website.
• Remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
