Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and integration pipelines for a cybersecurity platform. You’ll partner with enterprise customers to understand data sources, security requirements, and architectures, delivering scalable ingestion solutions in a remote LATAM setting.

You’ll work across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), build backend services in Python/Go, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive time-to-value for customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go programming experience.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding processes from discovery to production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, identity activity, and other data sources.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage, transformation, and querying.
• Build and operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot deployments and optimize ingestion performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Eng, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data architecture and security integrations.
• Identify recurring customer requirements and turn them into reusable connectors or platform capabilities.
• Contribute insights to product roadmap and improve time-to-value for customers.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing technical sessions and onsite engagements.
