Job summary

Darwoft is partnering with a cybersecurity-focused project to hire a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and integrations. You will collaborate with enterprise customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines across cloud platforms, on-premise environments, and security ecosystems.

You will build Python/Go backend services, work with Docker/Kubernetes, and contribute to fast time-to-production for high-volume security data.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of professional software/data/plat-form engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines, connectors, or integration platforms.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong grasp of CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
• Ability to design reliable, scalable, production-ready distributed systems.
• Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, security requirements, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding and deployment processes from discovery to production.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, and high-volume data.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services primarily with Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to store, transform, and query data.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot customer deployments across apps, infra, networking, and data layers.
