Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion and integrations for a cybersecurity platform. You will serve as a bridge between enterprise customers and engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines across cloud environments.

Role requires deep data and software engineering expertise, experience with Python/Go, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data engineering experience.
• Strong software development experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines, connector frameworks, or similar systems.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; strong CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, security requirements, and integration constraints.
• Participate in technical onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, and identity data.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go; work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes; deploy across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
