Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and connectors for a cybersecurity platform. You will engage with enterprise customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines, ingest data from identity providers, cloud platforms, and security systems, and build reliable, production-grade services using Python and Go.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform engineering or related experience.
• Strong software development with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines and connector frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Docker and Kubernetes experience; CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements.
• Strong communication and architectural skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including IdPs, cloud platforms, SIEMs, and networks.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments and integration constraints.
• Architect scalable ingestion pipelines for high-volume data like events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven patterns.
• Develop backend services primarily with Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes; deploy across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployments and optimize performance and reliability.
• Interface with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, and Product teams; contribute to roadmap.
