Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and integrations for a security platform. You will collaborate with customers to understand their data sources, security requirements, and integration constraints, then design scalable ingestion pipelines and reliable connectors.

You will work with Python/Go to develop backend services, build Docker/Kubernetes deployments, and deploy across AWS/Azure/GCP. Strong communication and autonomy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data/ platform engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand environments and constraints.
• Participate in technical onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for security events, logs, and high-volume data.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store and analyze data.
• Build and operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex customer deployments across layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as technical advisor.
• Transform customer requirements into reusable connectors and platform capabilities.
• Contribute insights to the product roadmap.
