Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to bridge enterprise customers with our engineering team. You will design scalable ingestion pipelines, build connectors, and ensure reliability and security across cloud environments.

This permanent, 100% remote role in LATAM involves collaborating with enterprise customers, understanding their data sources, and delivering production-grade ingestion solutions using Python and Go.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering or data engineering.
• Strong Python and Go development experience.
• Extensive data ingestion, connectors, and integration experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud-based data pipelines.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SIEMs, and networks.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments and data flows.
• Participate in onboarding, design, and production deployment activities.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services primarily with Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues across layers.
