Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, connectors, and collectors to act as a technical bridge between enterprise customers and the engineering team. This role is remote and LATAM-facing, not a pure backend position, and involves hands-on design and implementation with customers.

You will build scalable ingestion pipelines using Python and Go, REST APIs, and containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes) across AWS, Azure and GCP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, data or platform engineering.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and connectors.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM.
• Work with customers to understand environments and data flows.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like logs and events.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues.
