Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to join our remote LATAM team. You will design and implement scalable ingestion pipelines, connectors, and services, working directly with customers to understand data sources, security requirements, and architecture.

You’ll combine data engineering, software engineering, and cloud infrastructure to build reliable solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP, using Python and Go, Docker, and Kubernetes, with a strong

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software/data engineering or related experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines and connectors.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SIEM systems, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data such as security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and containerized services with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
