Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to bridge enterprise customers and the engineering team. This role is 100% remote in LATAM and involves collaborating with customers to design scalable ingestion pipelines.

You will build connectors using Python and Go, work with REST APIs and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and ensure reliable, scalable production deployments while contributing to product improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development skills.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience building data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems.
• Solid SQL and NoSQL knowledge.
• Production experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• CI/CD and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE, network, endpoints, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and production deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, and network telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store, transform, and query data.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
