The role involves designing scalable data systems, building robust ETL/ELT processes, and implementing data governance and security standards. Remote work from LATAM is supported, with USD contract terms.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years as Data Engineer or backend-focused role.
• Proficient in Python/Java/Scala.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for data warehousing and data lake initiatives.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to move data from various sources into centralized repositories.
• Develop integration solutions for data exchange between systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to define data models and storage solutions.
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance across pipelines and systems.
• Monitor data pipelines for availability and performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Stay updated on new data engineering technologies and trends.
• Document technical designs and standards for the team.
