Bridgenext is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to support analytics and reporting needs across Latin America, with CST business hours and on-call rotations.

The role requires 3+ years in ETL/ELT development, 5+ years building data engineering solutions, and strong experience with Azure Data Factory, dbt, and SQL databases. Remote work within LATAM is supported.

Formación

• 3+ years designing and building modern ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory
• 2+ years developing data transformations using dbt
• 5+ years building scalable data engineering solutions for analytics and reporting
• Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience scripting with PowerShell and/or Python
• Strong SQL optimization, indexing, and database design knowledge
• Experience with Git version control and Jira or similar tools
• Strong communication skills, able to work independently in an Agile environment

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, automate, and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Develop and maintain dbt models, data transformations, and ETL/ELT workflows
• Design dimensional data models using Kimball methodology, star schema, and data warehousing best practices
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
• Optimize SQL queries and data warehouse performance for scalability
• Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis
• Implement automated testing and validation for data quality
• Follow data governance and MDM standards and controls
• Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
• Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders
