Job summary

Fullstack is seeking a Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) for a fully remote role serving education and nonprofit clients. You will own the end-to-end data stack, from ad platforms and CRM to a BigQuery warehouse, modular dbt/Dataform transformations, and Looker Studio dashboards.

You’ll collaborate with the Data & Analytics Manager to scale automated reporting while preserving data quality and client trust.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering, preferably in marketing or agency settings.
• Experience configuring data streams and destinations in ETL platforms.
• Strong SQL with BigQuery proficiency in transformation and modeling.
• Proficient in dbt or Dataform and modular, version-controlled pipelines.
• Python for API connections and pipeline automation.
• CRM data flows knowledge (Salesforce/HubSpot/Slate).
• Understanding of ROAS, CPA, CAC metrics and paid platform schemas.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion and pipeline architecture from paid media to warehouse and dashboards.
• Maintain reliable CRM connections to feed the data warehouse.
• Design and optimize Google BigQuery schemas and storage strategy.
• Build modular, documented dbt/Dataform pipelines with consistent naming.
• Maintain CI/CD and data segregation for multi-client environments.
• Create performant data views for Looker Studio and Google Sheets reports.
• Monitor data quality, debug API breaks, and reduce latency.
