Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms handling large volumes of financial data. The role requires expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, and modern data architectures.

You will work with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver reliable data solutions and implement data governance, quality, and security across systems. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong cloud experience (AWS), and

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and software development.
• Hands-on experience with Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, and lakehouse architectures.
• Strong expertise in AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, Firehose, Lambda).
• Experience with Airflow or similar DAG-based tools and data warehousing like Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery.
• Experience designing real-time streaming architectures (Kafka/Kinesis) and data transformation with dbt.
• Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps, Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and IaC; cloud platforms AWS/GCP.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput data pipelines for financial transactions.
• Scale and optimize data warehouse and lakehouse architectures for large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Drive DataOps practices including CI/CD, workflow automation, and IaC for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security standards across data platforms.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers and promote best practices.
