Coderio offers a senior data engineering role focused on designing and building scalable data platforms for global financial data. You will leverage Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, and lakehouse architectures to deliver high-performance pipelines and governance across data stores.

The role emphasizes DataOps, CI/CD, IaC, and collaboration with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers. 100% remote with global collaboration and strong growth opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data, or related software engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and software development.
• Hands-on experience with Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Expertise with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, Firehose, Lambda).
• Experience with Airflow and data warehousing platforms (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• Knowledge of real-time streaming using Kafka or Kinesis; familiarity with dbt.
• DevOps/DataOps practices including Git, CI/CD and IaC.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Scale cloud data warehouses and lakehouses for large data volumes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to translate needs into scalable data solutions.
• Implement data quality, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting; ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Drive DataOps adoption, CI/CD, workflow automation, and IaC for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security standards across storage and compute layers.
• Mentor junior/mid-level Data Engineers and promote best practices.
