Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and optimize scalable data platforms for global financial data. You will build high-throughput pipelines, design cloud data warehouses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Required are 5+ years in data engineering, strong Python/SQL, Spark, AWS, and modern lakehouse experience. This remote-friendly role supports Argentina, Brazil, or Uruguay residents, offering growth and international collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related software roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and software development.
• Experience with Spark/ PySpark, Delta Lake, and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda).
• Experience with DAG-based tools like Airflow and data warehousing platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) and data transformation tools such as dbt.
• Strong DevOps/DataOps knowledge including Git, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Advanced English proficiency for technical communication.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput data pipelines for financial data.
• Scale cloud data warehouse and lakehouse architectures for massive data volumes.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate needs into data solutions.
• Implement data quality, testing, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data integrity and SLA compliance.
• Promote DataOps practices including CI/CD and IaC for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security including GDPR/LGPD compliance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Data Engineers and promote engineering excellence.
