Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms handling large volumes of financial and transactional data. The ideal candidate has strong Python, SQL, Spark, AWS, and modern data engineering architectures with experience in production-grade systems.

You will design high-throughput pipelines, scalable data warehouses/lakehouses, and collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver reliable data solutions.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and software development.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark/PySpark and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Strong expertise in AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, Firehose, Lambda).
• Experience with data orchestration and warehousing (Airflow, Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• Exposure to real-time streaming (Kafka/Kinesis) and dbt.
• DevOps/DataOps practices including Git, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platforms.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency batch and streaming data pipelines for financial data.
• Design, scale, and optimize cloud data warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Implement data quality frameworks, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting for data reliability and compliance.
• Drive DataOps adoption including CI/CD, workflow automation, and IaC.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security standards including GDPR/LGPD.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers.
