Job summary

Aesa (A-Evangelista Sa) seeks a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) for a remote role with a fast-growing agency serving education and nonprofit sectors. You will own data ingestion, CRM integrations, and the data warehouse, enabling reliable multi-client reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities include building scalable ETL pipelines, maintaining BI-ready data models, and ensuring data quality across source systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering in marketing/agency.
• Experience configuring datastreams, transformations, and destinations in Adverity or similar ETL platforms.
• Advanced SQL with BigQuery experience in transformation and modeling.
• Proficiency in dbt or Dataform for modular SQL pipelines.
• Python proficiency for API connections and automation.
• Experience with CRM data integrations (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Strong understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC).
• Git and multi-client data environment management with strict segregation.
• Analytical, solution-driven mindset with clear communication for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture across paid media and CRM to the warehouse.
• Build and maintain CRM connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) for clean data flows.
• Manage the data warehouse in BigQuery with scalable schemas and partitioning.
• Develop and map SQL transformations in dbt/Dataform with standard naming conventions.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and data segregation for multi-client environments.
• Create optimized data views for Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot API breaks, and implement validation tests.
