Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and connectors to bridge enterprise customers with our engineering teams.

You will work directly with customers to understand their infrastructure, data sources, security requirements, and APIs, then design scalable ingestion pipelines that feed the platform across cloud environments. This role blends data engineering, software engineering, and solution architecture in a consulting context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering or related experience.
• Proficiency with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on in building data ingestion pipelines or connectors.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and autonomous problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Lead onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage, transformation, and querying.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across APIs, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Collaborate with internal teams and act as technical advisor on data architecture.
• Transform customer requirements into reusable connectors and platform capabilities.
• Contribute to product roadmap with real-world insights.
• Support production adoption and time-to-value.
• Participate in customer-facing technical sessions when needed.
