Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and connectors to join our remote LATAM team. You will engage with enterprise-grade data sources, design scalable ingestion pipelines, and contribute to an identity security platform.

This role blends data engineering, software engineering, and solution architecture, requiring strong Python/Go skills, cloud experience, and a customer-facing mindset to deliver reliable, production-ready integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on in data ingestion pipelines and connector frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with customers or stakeholders.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, and SIEM systems.
• Work directly with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and integration constraints.
• Participate in technical onboarding from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing security events, logs, and identity activity.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services primarily with Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store and analyze data.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues across layers.
• Optimize ingestion performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on data architecture and integration best practices.
• Identify recurring requirements and convert them into reusable connectors or platform improvements.
• Contribute insights to the product roadmap and enhance time-to-value for customers.
• Participate in occasional customer-facing technical sessions and onsite engagements.
