Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Python/Go) focused on data ingestion, connectors, and cloud integrations. You will collaborate with enterprise customers, design scalable ingestion pipelines, and bridge engineering and customer needs in a remote LATAM setting.

You will work across data collectors, REST APIs, and cloud platforms, delivering reliable, scalable solutions while maintaining security and performance in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software or data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and Go development.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Data ingestion pipelines and integration platforms.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency.
• Customer-facing collaboration and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identities, cloud platforms, SASE solutions, network infrastructure, endpoints, applications, security platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments and constraints.
• Architect scalable ingestion systems for security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, and event-driven architectures.
• Deploy backend services in Python and Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and convert recurring requirements into reusable connectors.
