Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Data Engineer focusing on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to build scalable pipelines for enterprise customers. You’ll work across Python/Go, REST APIs, and multi-cloud environments, delivering robust ingestion services and connectors while collaborating with architects and customer teams.

You will design and deploy data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and ensure security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related experience.
• Strong experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines, connector frameworks, or similar systems.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of Git-based development workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and autonomous problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including IdPs, cloud platforms, SIEMs, network infrastructure, and endpoints.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, security requirements, and integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding processes from discovery to deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for processing high-volume data sources (security events, logs, activity).
• Develop backend services using Python and/or Go; work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Build and operate Docker/Kubernetes services.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments across application, infrastructure, networking, API, and data layers.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success.
• Translate complex requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Contribute insights to product roadmap and improve time-to-value for customers.
