Job summary

Bluelight Consulting, Llc seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own ingestion pipelines from paid media and CRM sources, connecting them into a single BigQuery warehouse. You will build modular dbt/Dataform transformations and ensure data quality across education and nonprofit clients.

Remote role with a fast-growing marketing focus, reporting to the Data and Analytics Manager. Strong SQL, Python, and ETL tool experience are essential, with Looker Studio dashboards and automated reporting shaping

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering in marketing or agency environments.
• Strong experience with ETL/ELT platforms (Adverity or comparable).
• Advanced SQL and BigQuery modeling, partitioning, and transformation.
• dbt/Dataform pipelines with modular, version-controlled code.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion and pipeline architecture from paid media and CRM sources.
• Maintain CRM connections (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) to warehouse data.
• Design and optimize BigQuery schemas, partitioning, and performance.
• Build SQL mappings in dbt/Dataform pipelines with clear naming conventions.
• Maintain CI/CD and data segregation across multi-client environments.
• Create Looker Studio dashboards and automated Google Sheets reports.
