Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms handling large financial datasets. You will leverage Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS to deliver high-performance data solutions in a remote-friendly setup.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong Python and SQL; Scala/Java a plus.
• Hands-on Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Strong AWS data services experience (S3, Glue, Athena, EventBridge, Firehose, Lambda).
• Experience with Airflow and data warehousing tools (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• Knowledge of Git, Docker, CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Scale and optimize cloud data warehouse and lakehouse architectures for massive data volumes.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Product Managers to translate needs into scalable data solutions.
• Implement data quality frameworks, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting for data integrity and SLAs.
• Drive DataOps practices, including CI/CD, workflow automation, and Infrastructure as Code for data systems.
• Champion data governance, privacy, and security standards across data storage and compute layers (GDPR/LGPD).
• Mentor junior and mid-level Data Engineers and promote engineering best practices.
