AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role demands 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps/SRE, hands-on AWS EKS and Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, and strong English communication.

You will lead IaC with Terraform, build CI/CD pipelines, enhance observability, and manage incidents with best practices. Remote LATAM availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS infrastructure in production.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS, including workload operations and observability.
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Argo Workflows or comparable platforms.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and source-controlled practices.
• Experience building, hardening, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and production release processes.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident-routing tools such as Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie.
• Ability to lead complex incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with Python, Shell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm hours, including operations and escalation.
• Maintain and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform (EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows, including deployment and monitoring.
• Define and improve IaC standards, configuration management, CI/CD, and release processes using Terraform and Git workflows.
• Improve observability across infra and data workloads, linking alerts to runbooks.
• Lead or support major incidents with root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements like selective auto-remediation and alert correlation.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, alert volumes, deployment outcomes, MTTR.
• Follow HIPAA/GDPR/FDA controls for change management, access control, and auditing.
• Create runbooks, operating procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote consistent execution across the team.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
