AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and incident response, with on-call rotations and LatAm service hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Cloud/DevOps/SRE experience.
• Hands-on AWS in production environments (EKS).
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Hands-on administration and troubleshooting of Argo Workflows.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Strong monitoring/alerting and incident routing tools.
• Lead complex incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Python/Shell/Bash scripting.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions and mentor engineers.
• Excellent written and spoken English; LatAm time window availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during the LatAm window.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure (EKS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows including deployment and recovery.
• Define and improve IaC standards using Terraform and Git-based delivery.
• Lead improvement of observability and alerting across infrastructure and data workloads.
• Manage incident response, post-incident reviews, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Design reliability improvements, auto-remediation, and dependency-aware alerting.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, alert volumes, deployment outcomes.
• Contribute to runbooks, architecture context, and knowledge transfer.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
