AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role emphasizes AWS EKS, Argo Workflows, Terraform, and robust incident management across LatAm hours.

You will lead CI/CD and observability initiatives while mentoring engineers and ensuring security and compliance. Work is 100% remote for LATAM, with on‑call rotation and collaboration with Data Engineering, Security,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Eng, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on AWS production experience.
• Kubernetes and EKS expertise with observability.
• Administering Argo Workflows or similar.
• Terraform IaC and Git-based delivery.
• CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Monitoring/logging/alerting experience (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Root-cause analysis and incident prevention.
• Python/Shell scripting proficiency.
• Strong English communication; LatAm availability.

Responsabilités

• Own Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm window.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure (EKS, S3, etc.).
• Manage Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows.
• Define standards for IaC, CI/CD, and environments.
• Improve observability and runbooks across platforms.
• Enhance alert routing and incident escalation.
• Lead major incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Design reliability improvements and automation.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, MTTR.
• Maintain change-control, access, and auditability.
