Job summary

Assurant, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Buenos Aires to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and ensure delivery aligns with objectives.

The role works across LATAM and global regions with Product Owners, developers, QA, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. You will design PBIs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows, while performing functional testing, UAT support, and impact analysis of production issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Business Analysis or related role.
• 3+ years in Agile Scrum environments.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience conducting functional testing, system validation, defect management, and UAT support.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements for new initiatives and enhancements.
• Create and maintain PBIs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, and functional specifications that are clear, complete, and testable.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA analysts, and business stakeholders throughout the Agile lifecycle to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing, document test results, and support UAT activities.
• Analyze production issues, participate in root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable solutions to improve system performance and user experience.
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning activities, and requirements discussions while aligning priorities and execution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, automation, and the effective use of AI-enabled tools to enhance team productivity and quality.
