AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

The role requires 5+ years of SQL development and 3+ years Tableau experience, plus Python and AI tooling proficiency. You will own data models, collaborate across teams, and drive data-driven decisions with an operational mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience with AI coding tools Claude Code or Cursor.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipelines.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools like GitHub, Slack, JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Identify and validate data sources to ensure the accuracy and reliability of insights.
• Interact directly with customers to gather requirements and deliver strong customer service.
• Contribute to improving data processes, tools, and documentation.
• Autonomously navigate ambiguity, set strategy and priorities, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for senior leaders and product teams.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to varied audiences.
• Operate in a self-guided, strategic manner, determining the most efficient and effective next steps for project and team success.
• Bring an operational mindset with a strong sense of urgency.
• Take full ownership and persevere through every challenge with consistent energy, regardless of complexity.
• Maintain a deep sense of quality and attention to detail.
• Support teammates by taking on secondary tasks when needed to ensure overall project success.
