AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports, turning large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams. The role emphasizes SQL development, Tableau modeling, Python work, and hands-on use of AI coding tools to deliver data-driven decisions.

The candidate will own end-to-end BI tasks, collaborate across functions, and communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders, while maintaining data quality and scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including migration to Streamlit
• Hands-on Python development experience
• Experience using AI coding tools Claude Code or Cursor across coding, SQL, analysis
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA)

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decisions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Identify and validate data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
• Interact with customers to gather requirements and deliver strong customer service.
• Contribute to improving data processes, tools, and documentation.
• Navigate ambiguity, set strategy and priorities, and translate complex data into actionable insights.
