Nubank in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape tech direction for large-scale distributed systems. You will implement horizontally scalable microservices in Clojure, drive architecture decisions, and mentor engineers across teams.

You'll work in a hybrid model, collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to deliver secure, observable systems across geographies while embracing agile practices and CI/CD.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience developing digital products in complex environments.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and cloud tech.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale systems for millions of users.
• Strong background in OO or functional languages and multiple languages.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives across teams.
• Practical knowledge of agile development and CI/CD.

Responsabilidades

• Work with large-scale distributed systems and assess architectures.
• Set technical direction for multiple teams and ensure alignment.
• Drive pragmatic, scalable, secure solutions across products.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar.
• Write, test, instrument, and document high-quality code.
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders.
• Ensure observability, performance monitoring, and robust error handling.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents.
• Focus on backend, with potential frontend contributions as needed.
