The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentoring juniors, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver end-to-end solutions. We value architectural thinking, strong fundamentals, and a passion for delivering high-quality, testable code.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in core backend engineering, including scalable APIs, service design, and database modeling.
• Expertise in database design and performance optimization, with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Proven experience designing and deploying systems using AWS services in production environments.
• Track record of success enabling engineering teams and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex end-to-end backend solutions involving multiple components and teams.
• Assess technical solutions and align with product strategy, advising on priorities and trade-offs.
• Lead large-scale refactors and system upgrades with risk management in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Expand into architectural thinking and document system structures for cross-team understanding.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor to enable team growth and collaboration.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful business outcomes.
