Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Environmental Permits Manager in Argentina to obtain, maintain and monitor environmental and sectoral permits for mining, energy or infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliance with national and provincial regulations, translate requirements into design criteria, and manage documentation and reporting to project management.

The role requires a university degree in relevant fields, with extensive experience in mining or EPC/EPCM environments, and fluency in Spanish

Qualifications

• Level 1: Requires university degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Natural Resources, Geological Sciences or Biological Sciences.
• Level 2: Graduate degree in environmental management, EIA or environmental law desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental permits in Argentina.
• Coordinate with provincial and national agencies and supervise environmental studies.
• Translate regulatory requirements into design criteria and ensure permits align with project schedule.
• Maintain a complete, auditable permit file and report status to project management.
