You will design, build, and maintain distributed services with Java and Python, leveraging AI-assisted development workflows, and working with Docker and Kubernetes in production. A strong ownership mindset in a fast-moving team is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering or backend experience.
• 5+ years of Python experience, building production-grade backends.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based development experience in production.
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with databases, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Startup or fast-paced environment ownership mindset.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, message queues, and pipelines.
• Own features and services from design through monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems focusing on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
• Improve system performance and operational efficiency across the platform.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and key technical decisions.
