You will design, build, and maintain distributed services in Java and Python, own features end-to-end, and work with AI-assisted development in a fast-moving team.

This 100% remote LATAM-friendly role uses Docker and Kubernetes, offers strong ownership and growth, and contributes to a modern security platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/backend experience.
• 5+ years with Python in production systems.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based development in production.
• Experience building AI-driven features and agentic workflows.
• Distributed systems, scalable architectures, asynchronous processing.
• Experience with databases, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features end-to-end from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems with reliability and performance focus.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality.
