You will work in a 100% remote, LATAM-focused setting with modern tech stacks and a fast-paced startup culture, helping advance an identity security/cybersecurity platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering, backend, or related experience.
• 5+ years of professional Python experience building production-grade backends.
• Strong Java experience.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based development in production environments.
• Experience designing reliable distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience with databases, message queues, and data processing pipelines.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Ownership mindset and ability to thrive in startup or fast-paced environments.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend services using Java and Python.
• Build distributed systems with databases, APIs, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features and services end-to-end from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems focusing on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency across the platform.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions as the company scales.
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.
