SQUIRE seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain payment systems and financial infrastructure for our platform. You will work within the Payments Team, leveraging deep fintech domain expertise, reporting to the Engineering Manager, and collaborating with product and engineering colleagues.

The role emphasizes payment processing lifecycle knowledge, double-entry bookkeeping, and idempotent operations, with on-site work at our Buenos Aires office two days per week.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in application development with Node.js.
• Experience in payments/fintech domain and production payment systems.
• Knowledge of reconciliation, ledgers and double-entry bookkeeping.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain payment features and financial infrastructure using Node.js.
• Design and maintain payment processing flows, reconciliation, and ledgers.
• Collaborate with product and other engineers to integrate payment systems with the platform.
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality.
